Important
Please thoroughly and carefully read these instructions — failure to do so may result in permanent damage to your decal. If your order arrived damaged, please do not attempt installation. Contact us immediately and we will be happy to assist you. If your decal is damaged during or after installation, we will offer you a one-time reduced-cost replacement within 90 days from the original purchase date.

Store the decal inside the tube out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry, climate-controlled area until the day of installation. We highly recommend hiring a professional to install your decal.

Our PrezisionCut® decals are comprised of three materials: (a) the release liner, (b) the vinyl material, and (c) the transfer material. The release liner and transfer tape will be removed and discarded after installation.

Many environmental factors can affect the decal during installation, including the installation location, air temperature, window surface temperature, wind, and window cleanliness. Choose an installation area out of direct sunlight and free from any potential airborne contaminants. The ideal air and window temperature are between 60°F and 80°F.

We do not recommend using the wet installation method with decals that feature our TransferRite 1310U clear vinyl transfer tape.

Preparation
Along with the included application card, we recommend having the following items nearby during installation: (a) non-residue, oil-free, and ammonia-free glass cleaner, (b) clean, lint-free paper towels, (c) denatured or rubbing alcohol, (d) masking tape, and (e) scissors.

Thoroughly clean the window surface and surrounding area with glass cleaner and soak up any remaining moisture with a paper towel and discard. Apply denatured or rubbing alcohol to a clean paper towel and wipe over the window surface. Discard the used paper towel and repeat with another alcohol wipe on a new paper towel.

Installation
For visual reference, please watch our installation video. Only work with one decal at a time and leave any other decals in a cool, dry area out of direct sunlight.

Step 1: Remove the decal from the tube and lay it face-up on a smooth, clean, flat surface. Using the application card at a 45° angle with moderate pressure, start in the center of the decal and squeegee toward the outside edges. This will strengthen the bond between the vinyl and transfer tape and remove any air pockets that may have formed.

Step 2: Align the decal face-out on the window — keep in mind that it has been designed with a 1/8" offset from the outside edge of the window. Use masking tape to hold the decal in place at all four corners and double-check the alignment. Run a piece of masking tape vertically across the center of the decal and onto the vehicle at both ends — this will create the "hinge."

Step 3: Remove the pieces of masking tape on the corners of one side of the decal. Start slowly and gently removing the transfer tape from the release liner. The decal should remain adhered to the transfer tape. If a piece or section remains on the release liner, immediately stop removing the transfer tape. Roll the transfer tape back over the piece or section and use the application card to re-adhere it to the transfer tape. Repeat this process as necessary until you have removed the transfer tape and vinyl from one half of the release liner. Cut the release liner with scissors about 1/2" away from the hinge and discard.

Step 4: Fold the exposed side of the vinyl back over but do not let it touch the window. Hold the decal with one hand, keeping even tension, and use the application card at a 45° angle with the other hand. Begin slowly and firmly applying the decal to the window starting at the center and moving vertically from center-out. Work in small sections across the decal until it is fully adhered to the window.

Step 5: Remove the remaining pieces of masking tape, including the hinge. Fold the remaining half of the decal over itself and begin slowly and gently removing the release liner from the transfer tape. If a piece or section remains on the release liner, immediately stop removing the release liner. Roll the release liner back over the piece or section and use the application card to re-adhere it to the transfer tape. Repeat this process as necessary until you have removed the release liner. Repeat step 4 for the remaining half.

Step 6: Run the application card at a 45° angle with moderate pressure across the entire decal, starting from the center and working towards the outside edges to ensure that the decal is fully adhered to the window. Starting in one corner, slowly and gently start removing the transfer tape at a 45° angle across the decal. If a piece or section of vinyl does not remain adhered to the window, immediately stop removing the transfer tape. Roll the transfer tape back over the piece or section and use the application card to re-adhere the vinyl to the window. Repeat this process as necessary until you have completely removed the transfer tape.

If you ordered multiple decals or a decal with multiple colors, repeat steps 1-6 for each decal/color.

Small air bubbles are common and will typically dissipate on their own over 1-2 weeks. If a bubble does not dissipate, poke a very small hole in the center of the bubble with a pin and work the air out. Be careful not to scratch the vinyl.
Please allow at least the decal to adhere for 72 hours before washing your vehicle.
